Polycrystalline Diamond Composites (PDC) cutters consist of a polycrystalline diamond layer sintered with tungsten carbide substrate under extremely high pressure and high temperature.
Features:

Application: PDC cutter and inserts can be made into roller cone bits, and the drill bit is widely used in geothermal energy drilling, mining, water well and natural gas drilling and oil well drilling. Total depths range from 100' to 20,000'.
LIMITATIONS: Impact damage, heat damage and abrasive wear all inhibit a drill bit's performance and can occur in even the softest geological formations. However, the most difficult formation for a PDC bit to drill are extremely abrasive ones.

Design Target of T PDC Cutters
1. TC PDC Cutter (Flat shaped, Comprehensive products)

To meet different drilling requirements of PDC cutters, Zzbetter had developed the third generation TC and TD PDC Cutters in the year of 2014.
TC PDC Cutter: Compared with TRC PDC cutter(the second generation), TC PDC cutter has improved impact- resistance more than 1 time, and the wear-resistance of TC PDC cutter declines a little(less than 20%), thermal-stability significantly increases.
TD PDC Cutter: Compared with TRC PDC cutter(the second generation), TD PDC cutter has improved wear-resistance 40%, impact-resistance and thermal-stability significantly increase.
Zzbetter TP PDC cutters are mainly used in back-up row, inner cone, gauge row of PDC bits and Rock roller bits, which can be applied for drilling hard formations and extremely hard formations.
